[Remote] Senior Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. E-Logic, Inc. is seeking two Senior Data Engineers to join their team supporting the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). The role involves leading tasks associated with Data Management, Governance, and Administration specifically within Databricks and cloud-native environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect, scale, and maintain data pipelines for intake, governance, and tenant services on the Enterprise Data Platform
- Optimize Databricks clusters, manage workspaces, and administer platform policies
- Collaborate closely with cloud infrastructure and security teams to build secure, technical guardrails for data ingestion
Skills
- Minimum 8+ years of dedicated experience in cloud technology (AWS or Azure preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience deploying, governing, and managing Databricks environments
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python, Flexoraq Lake, and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines
- Ability to pass a federal government background check/Public Trust
