Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal (3 Yrs Legal Administrative Experience Required)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys by managing various administrative tasks, conducting legal research, and ensuring the efficient operation of the office. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of information and documentation within the firm, particularly in the area of Personal Injury Law. Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and legal arguments.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Manage and organize files using Document Management Systems to ensure easy access to important materials.
  • Perform document review to verify accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Maintain clerical duties including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and filing documents.
  • Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to case management and client communication.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in legal research is preferred.
  • Experience with Document Management Systems and familiarity with legal administrative processes.
  • Strong skills in legal drafting and document review, particularly in personal injury law is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Prior experience in a legal setting or relevant coursework in law is advantageous but not required.
