Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors, fellow staff members, and families or guardians regarding the progress and treatment of each client.
  • Create and manage a tentative schedule to oversee appointments, home visits, and follow-up observation sessions effectively.
  • Coordinate in-home observations and chart reviews to provide a complete picture of each client's circumstances, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to program protocols and treatment plans through regular progress updates and compliance checks.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing valuable insights on client progress and program effectiveness.
  • Document and submit monthly and quarterly progress notes, providing a clear outline of client progress and areas for continued focus.
  • Facilitate training sessions to certify staff members in the implementation of treatment plans and documentation standards, enhancing team competency.
  • Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and additional home visits to ensure that clients receive the care they need.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community, advocating for necessary resources and support systems for individuals and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus The LPC role at Insight Family Therapy involves working with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds and age groups. You will support adults, youth, and families facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in navigating these complex situations and fostering resilience through tailored interventions.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, providing direct counseling services.
  • A strong foundation in ethical and legal standards governing mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to create rapport with a diverse range of clients.
  • A collaborative spirit, showcasing an ability to work effectively within a healthcare team to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
  • Experience in training and mentoring other mental health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
