Remote Telecommunications Project Manager

Our client, a leading provider of telecommunications solutions, is seeking a seasoned and highly organized Remote Telecommunications Project Manager. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to manage projects from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse telecommunications projects, including network deployments, system upgrades, and technology implementations. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage project teams, coordinate resources, define project scope, develop timelines, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of telecommunications technologies (e.g., fiber optics, wireless, VoIP, data networking) and a proven track record of managing complex technical projects. Excellent organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) are required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, coupled with at least 5 years of project management experience specifically within the telecommunications industry, is necessary. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage telecommunications projects from initiation to closure. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate project teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks and issues. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Manage project scope and changes effectively. Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates. Maintain project documentation and records. Foster strong working relationships with all project participants.
