Medical Assistant – Weekend Shift – Remote

- Support clinicians with patient coordination tasks including but not limited to -Pharmacy communication and prescription support -Referrals and prior authorizations -Scheduling and follow-up outreach
- Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication internally and externally
- Accurately and thoroughly document tasks and communications in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Identify workflow issues and escalate when needed
- Participate in team huddles and quality initiatives
- Ensures compliance with HIPPA and confidentiality standards
- Other duties as assigned What You’ll Need
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of medical assistant experience required
- At least 1 year of prior telemedicine experience required
- Comfortable working independently and handling high-volume patient interactions
- Proficient in navigating various telehealth platforms and EHR systems and adaptable to evolving technology, including AI-driven tools and digital platforms
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment, with reliable high-speed internet access
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus What We Offer
