Key Responsibilities

In your daily role as a Staff Pharmacist, you will:

  • Dispense medications accurately, providing detailed counseling to patients regarding proper usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks, providing training and support as needed while promoting a culture of teamwork.
  • Manage inventory levels efficiently to ensure the availability of essential medications and supplies.
  • Conduct health screenings and immunizations, contributing to the health of the community.
  • Monitor patient profiles for medication adherence and potential issues, proactively addressing concerns.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Staff Pharmacist role, candidates must possess:

  • A current Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective patient interactions.
  • An immunization certification, demonstrating readiness to provide vaccinations as part of patient care.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights, ensuring operational efficiency.

Preferred Experience We encourage new graduates or soon-to-be graduates to apply. Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is an advantage but not mandatory. A background in customer service or healthcare will be beneficial in enhancing your interactions with patients and colleagues alike.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize the dedication and skill of our pharmacists with a competitive hourly wage ranging from USD 47 to 56, dependent on experience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus of $10,000 along with yearly performance bonuses. Our benefits package is designed to support your well-being and work-life balance, including:
