[Remote] ES Portfolio Support Program Manager

Lockheed Martin is a leader in innovation and integrity, and they are seeking a Program Manager to support the Emerging Sensors portfolio. The role involves managing risk and opportunities, capturing new business, and overseeing the technical performance of programs while coordinating team recruitment and performance assessments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing risk & opportunities, capture new business and execution
- Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test
- Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas
Skills
- Proposal experience including ability to manage proposal preparation through leadership reviews and delivery of the proposal as well as demonstrated ability to provide proposal inputs
- Experience with managing risk and opportunities
- Experience with execution of development programs or production programs
- Experience with EVMS planning, execution and reporting
- Demonstrated capability to successfully balance technical, cost and schedule performance in the execution of a program or project
- Solid understanding of key programmatic processes to include IRAD and capital planning, EVMS reporting, and program baseline process
- Active secret clearance
- Program Management experience

- Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
- Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
- These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
- (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
- Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
- PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
