[Remote] Junior Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nova Infotek is a company seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support their data analysis efforts. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data to assist in data-driven decision-making and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various banking systems and databases
- Analyze financial, operational, and customer-related data to identify trends and insights
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely analysis
- Collaborate with business, operations, risk, and compliance teams to understand reporting requirements
- Identify data quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions
- Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting processes
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and special projects as required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and statistical techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and querying
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Basic understanding of banking operations, financial products, and industry terminology
