[Remote] Credit Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Planet Group is seeking a Credit Analyst for a 3-month contract position. The role is responsible for daily cash application and accounts receivable processing, including applying customer payments and verifying daily cash receipts.

Responsibilities

  • Applying customer payments (cash, ACH, and deposits)
  • Adjusting invoices
  • Creating and coding deductions or short payments
  • Verifying and balancing daily cash receipts
  • Supporting special projects as assigned by the Credit Manager

Skills

  • 1–2 years of cash application or accounts receivable experience
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong data entry accuracy
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Accounting experience
  • Experience handling deductions and short payments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
