[Remote] Program Manager

The Program Manager serves as the central point of accountability for contract execution and stakeholder communication, coordinating work across various IT services teams to ensure deliverables and schedules are managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for overall task coordination and information flow between the delivery team and government stakeholders
- Lead project initiation and planning activities, including stakeholder coordination to define needs and objectives
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans
- Assign work across contractor personnel, forecast labor burn, manage schedules, and oversee daily progress
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project-related risks
- Act as the liaison between technical teams, the contracting officer's representative, and executive leadership to manage expectations and delivery visibility
- Help ensure deliverables meet requirements and quality expectations
Skills
- Ten years of experience in program or project management, including federal information technology (IT) or cybersecurity programs
- Ability to quantify and communicate specific recommendations in written and verbal formats
- Working understanding of IT and cybersecurity capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple concurrent activities
- Attention to detail and the ability to define requirements and prepare task proposals, including budget and schedule development
- Experience with project management tools, policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and evaluate deliverables against requirements
- Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
