Reporting to the Founding Partner, the Part Time Bookkeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and reviewing the work of 6 remote bookkeepers. The ideal candidate should possess a strong and proven bookkeeper and QuickBooks Online background with the ability to understand a small business? accounting and financial processes. We are looking for self-motivated, detailed oriented, accounting professionals who have the availability to work virtually. This is a 100% REMOTE, part-time position whereby you will review the work and oversee a team of bookkeepers. Compensation: $30 to $45 per hour - based on skill level and experience The bookkeeper will handle the following financial transactions as needed for a variety of clients and exciting start-ups. Primary responsibilities include: ? Review clients? books for accuracy and completion ? Train Remote Bookkeepers on all aspects of their work ? The ability to multi-task across clients and ?put out fires? while meeting deadlines ? Proficiency with the work required of a Remote Bookkeeper ? Brainstorm and implement solutions for new procedures needed by existing clients ? Ensuring all processes are documented using Loom for easy knowledge transfer between teammates ? Troubleshoot and respond to any client inquiries that the Remote Bookkeeper cannot handle ? Manage the workload and capacity of their bookkeeping team ? Perform the work of a Remote Bookkeeper when the Remote Bookkeeper is unable to perform tasks due to sickness, vacation, or time shortages ? Perform the work of another Remote Bookkeeping Manager when they are unable to perform their normal tasks due to sickness, vacation, or time shortages ? Assist with projects that increase the efficiency and productivity of the firm What you will need to bring with you: ? A heart for serving churches ? All of the skills and attributes of a Remote Bookkeeper ? Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Remote Bookkeeper ? An entrepreneurial spirit that wants the firm to grow and serve as many clients as possible ? A desire to see the Remote Bookkeepers on their team succeed ? Excellent delegation skills ? An ability to seek and find solutions to problems ? An interest in the use of technology to increase efficiency and productivity ?
