Ropes & Gray is a preeminent global law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Alternative Asset Opportunities (AAO) support team. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure the team's organization and efficiency in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong working relationships with attorneys and team members across the organization
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation
  • Assist with preparing, formatting, and editing documents
  • Help manage time entry and ensure accuracy in accordance with client guidelines
  • Organize meetings and events, including scheduling and logistics
  • Process invoices and expense reports
  • Provide general administrative support (scanning, filing, document organization)
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Collaborate with colleagues on team projects and special initiatives
  • Learn and use tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a professional setting
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
