[Remote] Editorial Assistant (STEM and Economics)

The Editorial Assistant for STEM and Economics provides administrative and editorial support to the Content Developers and Content Managers, assisting with project planning, editorial development, and manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks including running reports, processing and tracking contracts and payments, and updating data in key systems
  • Support content team with market research, developmental reviews, and surveys using key systems
  • Support content team with editorial development including timely manuscript preparation and assembly; assists in evaluating content for different specifications, and support content management of media and assessment in key systems
  • Support content team with timely permissions-related work using key systems
  • Assist in development of content components

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality outputs
  • Ability to think critically to analyze content, ask important questions, diagnose problems, and create practical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality educational products and solutions
  • Proven track record of maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and processes, with the ability to navigate and support change effectively
  • Experience in a deadline-driven job with deliverables
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in publishing or related field
  • Experience providing administrative support in an office and/or remote office environment
  • Customer outreach or customer service experience
  • Experience with tutoring or teaching
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, generate insights, and support content creation, research, or decision-making
  • Candidates with degrees in STEM, Economics or Liberal Arts are also encouraged to apply
