Operations Specialist
Bessemer Trust is a family office overseeing $250 billion in assets for wealthy individuals and families. The Operations Specialist will support the delivery of private foundation administration services and contribute to operational and project management initiatives across the FOM platform.
Responsibilities
- Support the full grant lifecycle, including intake, due diligence, review, and disbursement
- Maintain and validate client data utilizing grant management systems
- Assist in preparing materials for foundation board meetings, including reports, analyses, and supporting documentation
- Support foundation-related communications by responding to internal and external inquiries and escalating complex matters as appropriate
- Partner with client advisors and internal partners to ensure seamless client experience
- Support the execution of FOM initiatives including client onboarding, reporting, billing and internal audit
- Assist with process improvements and operational enhancements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Experience with nonprofits, private foundations, or grants administration preferred
- Experience in project coordination, operations, or client service environments preferred
- Experience working across multiple software platforms a plus
