[Remote] Junior Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Abramson Labor Group is a legal services firm dedicated to defending employee rights in California. They are seeking a highly motivated Junior Associate Attorney to manage a docket of cases, prepare clients for depositions, and provide guidance to non-attorneys while working collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing a docket of cases to resolution
- Depositions:
- Preparing client for deposition
- Attending depositions
- Invoicing Depositions
- Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution
- Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
- Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Team Player:
- Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
- Participation in team events during work and after work hours
- Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
Skills
- Candidates *MUST* be CA State Barred and preferably reside in the state of California
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
- Doctors' deposition experience
