[Remote] Default Fees & Costs Coordinator, I

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC is a company that provides integrated mortgage loan servicing assistance to borrowers and investors. They are seeking a Default Fees & Costs Coordinator, I who will be responsible for requesting, compiling, and summarizing fees and costs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating with law firms to gather necessary information.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize workflow and processing of CIT requests
  • Request and compile fees and costs via Tempo comtag or email and summarize in Fiserv
  • May help send reinstatement letters via the correct predetermined avenue once letter is verified for accuracy
  • Ensure compliance deadlines are met
  • Ensure Investor/Insurer/state guidelines are followed
  • Communicate with various law firms to gather required information needed for the outstanding fees/costs
  • Adhere to company and department policies and procedures
  • Follow established company guidelines to increase revenue and reduce losses
  • Understanding of the loan servicing default related documents preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to complete research within applicable systems to identify appropriate documentation to support invoicing
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/high production environment
  • Ability to work independently and organize workflow

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to complete research within applicable systems to identify appropriate documentation to support invoicing
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/high production environment
  • Ability to work independently and organize workflow
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates
  • Understanding of the loan servicing default related documents preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • One (1) plus years' general office/accounting experience preferred
