Key Responsibilities of the Customer Support Crewmember

As a Customer Support Crewmember at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities designed to support our customers and uphold the high standards of our service culture. Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Multichannel Customer Support: Handle continuous inbound and outbound interactions across multiple channels, including phone calls, live chat, SMS text messaging, and email. You will be expected to manage concurrent digital conversations with more than one customer at a time, demonstrating agility and attention to detail.
  • Reservation Management: Perform all assigned activities related to booking new reservations, modifying existing itineraries, and providing comprehensive support to customers throughout their travel journey. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount in every transaction.
  • Sales and Ancillary Product Promotion: Proactively identify opportunities to sell flights, upgrades, baggage options, seat selections, and other ancillary products and services that enhance the customer experience while meeting revenue goals.
  • Exceptional Service Delivery: Provide outstanding service to every customer, every time. This means listening actively, responding with empathy, and resolving inquiries with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Problem Resolution: Effectively and efficiently resolve all customer inquiries, requests, and needs. You will be trained to find simple solutions to complex issues while meeting performance standards in a quickly evolving working environment.
  • KPI Performance Standards: Maintain key performance indicator (KPI) standards as defined by the CSC, including metrics related to call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, sales conversion rates, and quality assurance.
  • System Proficiency: Navigate and utilize a variety of CSC systems, programs, and tools — including Radixx Res, RadixxGo, ZenDesk, and MIS Choice DCS — to deliver seamless support.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. There may be occasions when you need to respond on short notice, particularly during emergencies, rush initiatives, or periods of high demand.
  • Additional Duties: May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate, such as during emergencies, changes in workload, or technical developments.

Essential Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Support Crewmember at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of customer service or sales experience is required. Previous call center experience and sales experience are strongly preferred.
  • Training Completion: Successful completion of new hire training is required before being eligible to work from home.
  • Home Office Setup: Must provide a safe and professional office-work environment, free from background noise and distraction. A high-speed internet connection is required to meet work from home requirements.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a ten (10) year background check.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Availability: Flexible and able to work at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer is required.
