About arenaflex

arenaflex is a global leader in logistics, supply chain solutions, and technology‑driven transportation services. With a legacy of innovation spanning decades, arenaflex connects businesses and consumers across continents, ensuring that goods move swiftly, safely, and efficiently. Our commitment to digital transformation means we continuously invest in cutting‑edge platforms, data‑centric processes, and a workforce that thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. As a remote‑first employer, arenaflex empowers employees to work from any location, fostering a culture that values flexibility, autonomy, and results‑oriented performance.

Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of arenaflex’s operations. Every shipment, invoice, route plan, and customer interaction relies on accurate, timely, and secure information. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be a critical guardian of that data, ensuring that the information flowing through our systems is pristine, reliable, and ready for analysis. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the strategic decisions that keep arenaflex at the forefront of the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, validate, and maintain a wide variety of data—including shipment records, customer details, inventory counts, and financial entries—into arenaflex’s proprietary databases and cloud‑based platforms.
  • Perform meticulous data verification and reconciliation to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring 99.9% data accuracy.
  • Conduct regular data quality audits, generate error‑report summaries, and propose corrective actions to improve overall data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including logistics coordinators, IT support, and finance analysts—to troubleshoot data‑related issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Adhere to established data entry standards, naming conventions, and security protocols, safeguarding confidential information in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data entry procedures, updates, and system changes to support knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
  • Provide timely status reports on data entry progress, backlog reduction, and quality metrics to supervisors and project stakeholders.
  • Assist internal customers with software tools such as SPLUS, ETPS2, E2K, email clients, and printing solutions, offering guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.
  • Support remote and on‑site teams in Texas locations (TXALG, TXDFW, TXDAL) with occasional travel for training sessions, system upgrades, or collaborative workshops.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry, information management, or a related field is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 1‑2 years) in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role, preferably within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Exceptional typing speed (70+ wpm) with a focus on accuracy; proven ability to maintain high data quality under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and meet daily/weekly targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving as a collaborative team member in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with data entry software, spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets), and basic database concepts.
  • Understanding of data security principles, password management, and confidentiality best practices.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with logistics or supply‑chain management systems, such as transportation management software (TMS) or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of data validation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA), or automation platforms that can streamline repetitive entry tasks.
  • Previous exposure to remote work environments, including proficiency with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, and project‑tracking software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a track record of identifying root causes and recommending process improvements.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, demonstrated by participation in webinars, online courses, or industry certifications.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, typographical errors, and data anomalies quickly.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfort interpreting data trends, recognizing patterns, and suggesting enhancements.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to deadlines, even when working independently.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving processes, new software tools, and shifting business priorities.
  • Customer‑Centric Attitude: Proactive approach to assisting internal clients, ensuring their data needs are met promptly and accurately.

  • Tuition reimbursement for relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Six Sigma Yellow Belt).
  • Clear career pathways that can lead to roles such as Data Analyst, Business Process Coordinator, or Operations Support Specialist within arenaflex’s expansive network.
  • Opportunities to participate in cross‑functional projects, giving you exposure to strategic initiatives and senior leadership.
