Remote Audiologist Diagnostics

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Job Summary We are seeking a high-performing Hearing Instrument Specialist to support our Remote Diagnostics program, delivering high-quality virtual hearing healthcare for acoustic hearing aids and Earlens hearing devices. This role is central to scaling access to care while maintaining clinical rigor, patient trust, and operational efficiency. You will conduct remote diagnostic evaluations, interpret clinical data, consult with patients via telehealth, and recommend personalized treatment solutions. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, tech-forward, patient-centric, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving virtual care model. This is not a transactional telehealth role—this position requires strong clinical judgment, consultative selling skills, and the ability to drive excellent outcomes without in-person interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote hearing diagnostics and assessments, including interpretation of audiometric data captured onsite or through approved remote diagnostic tools
  • Deliver virtual consultations to review results, educate patients, and guide treatment decisions
  • Recommend, fit, and dispense Earlens hearing solutions and air conduction hearing aids, aligned to patient lifestyle, clinical needs, and financial considerations
  • Provide remote counseling and follow-up support to ensure optimal device usage, satisfaction, and retention
  • Accurately document all encounters, diagnostics, and recommendations in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Coordinate with onsite clinical teams, technicians, and national support resources to ensure seamless patient experience
  • Support appointment scheduling, handoffs, and follow-up workflows as needed
  • Proactively manage patient concerns to reduce returns and exchanges
  • Meet or exceed clinical quality, productivity, and patient satisfaction benchmarks
  • Stay current on hearing technology, remote diagnostics tools, and telehealth best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with audiology leadership, operations, and referral partners Required Qualifications
  • Active Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) license in good standing (multi-state licensure a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hearing Science, Audiology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience fitting and dispensing hearing instruments
  • Demonstrated experience or strong aptitude for remote care delivery and telehealth platforms
  • High level of comfort interpreting diagnostic data without direct physical presence
  • Strong consultative communication skills with the ability to build trust virtually
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple patient cases independently
  • Commitment to HIPAA compliance, clinical ethics, and patient confidentiality Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with Earlens devices or complex hearing solutions
  • Prior involvement in remote diagnostics, centralized audiology models, or tele-audiology
  • Experience working in a multi-site or scaling healthcare organization
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and structured clinical workflows Remote About the Company EarLens Corporation Apply To This Job
