[Remote] Patient Service Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dental Arts of South Jersey is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Voorhees, New Jersey, to join their clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction. The role involves supporting staff and patients, answering phones, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
- Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to policies
- Answering Telephones
- Scheduling Appointments
- Maintaining Appointment Book
- Confirming Appointments
- Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
- Register Patients on sign in sheet
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Checking voicemail on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Skills
- 1 year experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, required
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
- Experience answering telephone
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
