Vishay San Jose is currently seeking applicants for a Director of Business Operations to serve as the primary integrator between Division Marketing (Product Marketing, Market Development), Planning and Operations (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Planning) to ensure seamless execution from market strategy through delivery. This role translates market demand, product roadmaps, and revenue plans into executable operational plans while driving alignment, accountability, and disciplined execution across the division. This is a senior role with high visibility that involves extensive interaction with management and cross-functional teams. Job Location: The preferred location for this position is located San Jose, CA, which is well known as a vibrant city with many advantages that make it an attractive place to live. What you will be doing: Marketing–Operations Integration Act as the central coordination point between Division Marketing and Operations to align demand, supply, and execution (Strategy or long term, Division planning organization manages Build Plans and execution to meet revenue plans) Translate product roadmaps, market segmentation, and pricing strategies into volume, capacity, and manufacturing plans Drive alignment between revenue targets, build plans, inventory strategy, and lifecycle management Demand, Supply & Execution Management Lead division-level capacity planning, S&OP, and executive reviews Ensure timely communication of demand changes, product transitions, and priority shifts Resolve gaps between market demand and operational capability through data driven trade off decisions. Strategic & Operating Planning Lead annual operating planning and quarterly execution reviews for the division Partner with Division Marketing on long-term growth strategies and with Operations on long-term capacity and cost strategies. Track execution of strategic initiatives and ensure cross-functional accountability Performance Management & Analytics Define and maintain key business metrics including revenue, gross margin, on-time delivery, inventory, cost, and cycle time Develop dashboards and executive reporting for division and corporate leadership Analyze performance variances and drive corrective action Process & Continuous Improvement Standardize operating rhythms, governance, and decision-making processes across Marketing and Operations Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, cycle time, and cost structure Drive simplification and scalability as the business grows Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management Facilitate alignment across Product Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance Lead change management for new products, system implementations, and organizational transitions Foster an outward mindset culture focused on enterprise results over functional optimization What you will bring along:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business (Operations/Supply Chain Management), Operations Research or related field. MBA’s focused on Operations/Supply Chain Management. 10+ years of experience in semiconductor business operations, product line management, or operations leadership Direct experience working across Product Marketing and Manufacturing/Supply Chain organizations Strong understanding of semiconductor product lifecycles, capacity planning, and cost structures Proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization Preferred Experience Experience supporting wafer fab and/or OSAT operations Exposure to advanced nodes, specialty technologies, or complex product portfolios Background in S&OP, demand planning, or product line operations Key Competencies End-to-end business thinking (market → fab →back end → customer) Executive communication and decision facilitation Data-driven trade-off and prioritization skills Strong systems and process orientation Change leadership and stakeholder alignment What can we offer you for your talent: Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
