At arenaflex, our data professionals are the unsung heroes behind every successful migration, every audit-ready report, and every streamlined workflow. We are seeking a meticulous, dependable, and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team and play a vital role in supporting our database migration initiatives.

If you are an organized self-starter with a passion for precision, thrive in independent work environments, and want to launch or grow your career in data administration, this is your opportunity to join a company that values your contribution from day one.

Position Overview

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for transferring large volumes of information into a new database system, updating and maintaining existing database files, and supporting document control operations across multiple projects. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to recognize and correct errors with minimal supervision. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including plant supervisors, maintenance personnel, and administrative staff, to coordinate data activities and ensure timelines are met.

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity open to candidates residing in the United States. Whether you are an experienced data professional or an entry-level candidate eager to build a career in data management, arenaflex provides the training, tools, and supportive environment you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex data operations team, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate Data Input and Verification: Record, report, and ensure that multiple types of data are entered correctly into the appropriate database cells, verifying the integrity of information at every step of the process.
  • Work Order and Document Management: Enter information into work order and document control systems, completing manual forms as required, and maintaining organized, audit-ready records.
  • Document and Records Comprehension: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of document control procedures, records management protocols, and filing systems used throughout the organization.
  • Materials Handling Coordination: Receive and process incoming and outgoing materials related to data operations, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Confidential Data Migration: Transfer confidential records, documents, and files from one software program to another with the highest level of discretion and accuracy.
  • Scanning and Reproduction: Operate scanning and photocopying equipment to digitize physical records, producing high-quality electronic copies suitable for archival and operational use.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external partners, contributing to a collaborative remote work environment.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Work comfortably both as part of a distributed team and independently with minimal oversight, demonstrating reliability and self-direction.
  • Timeline and Deadline Management: Stay on schedule and consistently meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively to optimize performance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate data-related activities with plant supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the database and related systems.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To thrive in this role at arenaflex, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous data entry or administrative experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated entry-level candidates.
  • Written Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and produce effective reports and business correspondence using standard Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Technical Proficiency: Previous experience operating computers and using database technology is essential. Familiarity with spreadsheet functions, data validation, and basic troubleshooting is highly valued.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, move between work areas as needed, and climb ladders or platforms while wearing all required safety and production-related equipment. (Note: While this is a remote position, occasional on-site tasks may be required depending on project needs.)
  • Attention to Detail: A demonstrated commitment to accuracy, with the ability to identify and correct errors proactively before they become larger issues.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

While not required, the following skills will help you stand out as an applicant for the arenaflex data team:

  • Prior experience with large-scale data migration projects or database conversions
  • Familiarity with cloud-based document management systems such as SharePoint, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of data confidentiality standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, or other regulatory frameworks
  • Typing speed of 50 words per minute or higher with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Basic knowledge of records retention policies and archival best practices
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
