Position Overview

As a Content Tagger and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the accuracy and comprehensiveness of our vast content library metadata. Your work will directly impact how millions of viewers search, discover, and enjoy the content they love. This is a fully remote position offering competitive compensation of $72,000 annually, with opportunities for career growth within our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include accurately categorizing and tagging entertainment content across our extensive library, ensuring all metadata meets arenaflex's quality standards. You'll review and classify content using our proprietary classification systems, applying appropriate tags for genres, themes, actors, directors, and other relevant attributes. Your attention to detail will ensure that content is properly indexed and easily discoverable through our search and recommendation systems. You will also be responsible for entering and maintaining detailed content information in our database systems, verifying data accuracy and completeness. This includes inputting information about plot summaries, cast and crew details, production information, and other metadata elements. You'll work closely with our content operations team to ensure consistency across all content metadata. In addition, you'll participate in quality assurance reviews, identifying and correcting any inaccuracies in existing metadata. Your feedback will help improve our tagging guidelines and processes, contributing to continuous improvement of our content organization systems. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

We're seeking candidates who demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of information. Excellent written communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly express ideas and follow detailed guidelines. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry, metadata management, or related administrative roles. Familiarity with entertainment content, including films, television series, and other media formats, is highly valued. Basic computer proficiency and comfort with learning new software systems are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in content tagging, library science, or information management is considered an advantage. Familiarity with streaming platforms and entertainment technology is beneficial. Experience working remotely or in distributed teams is helpful. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are valued. Knowledge of multiple languages is considered an asset for our global content library.
