In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of centralized services while supporting patient wellbeing across diverse care settings. Below, you will find a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities, qualifications, and rewards associated with this exciting career at arenaflex.

About the Role

As a Centralized Services Pharmacist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in executing clinical pharmacy strategies, optimizing patient safety outcomes, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards. Working remotely, you will process prescriptions with accuracy, support patient intervention programs, and serve as a trusted resource for pharmacists, field leaders, and healthcare partners. Your work will directly impact the financial performance of the pharmacy division while elevating the patient experience through enhanced healthcare services such as medication management, adherence programs, and clinical consultations.

You will be the face of arenaflex in assigned regions, building strong relationships with clinical networks, acting as a representative and primary point of contact, and providing expert guidance on pharmacy industry trends and best practices. Additionally, you will maintain the licensure required to operate across multiple jurisdictions and stay informed on the latest developments in the pharmacy field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Patient Care Programs: Lead and execute direct patient care initiatives, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and adherence-driven clinical projects sponsored by payers and pharmaceutical partners.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive the implementation of policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure business objectives are consistently met, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Quality Improvement: Champion adherence to regulatory standards, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines by analyzing outcomes, monitoring performance, and redesigning processes as needed.
  • Financial Stewardship: Align regional pharmacy operations with arenaflex’s financial goals by executing patient intervention programs that maximize reimbursement opportunities and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Enhanced Patient Experience: Support efforts that expand healthcare services such as patient consultations, medication therapy reviews, immunization services, disease state management, and specialty pharmacy programs.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide expertise, education, and mentorship to pharmacists and field leadership. Promote staff training opportunities, foster collaboration, and inspire pharmacy teams by reinforcing arenaflex’s shared vision, values, and ethical standards.
  • Clinical Reviews and Audits: Conduct data and clinical audits to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescribed medications. Review medication histories and patient profiles to confirm safe and effective treatment plans.
  • Individualized Patient and Provider Consultations: Engage with patients and providers through personalized consultations, actively listening to concerns, addressing questions, and providing a supportive sounding board for pharmacy-related issues.
  • Program Feedback: Offer constructive input regarding the effectiveness of the Client Retention Program, including gathering patient feedback to enhance the value of individual consultations.
  • Clinical Advisory Support: Provide clinical advice and guidance to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as required.
  • Policy and Regulatory Compliance: Comply with arenaflex policies, HIPAA regulations, and federal, state, and local pharmacy laws while consistently meeting performance goals.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities outlined above, as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience inspiring team members to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working with confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines for multiple tasks with varying completion dates.
  • Proven ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and determine when to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, including evaluating customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes, within and outside the assigned state.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses as required to support arenaflex’s expanding service areas.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans and billing processes.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Connexus Plus.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including opening workbooks, inserting rows, formatting cells, using copy/paste/save functions, creating charts, setting margins, and utilizing spell check.
