Project Manager – Solar & Storage Solutions (U.S. Remote Eligible)

About the position GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage business is at the forefront of the clean energy transition, providing advanced power electronics, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and solar solutions. The Solar & Storage Solutions team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of large-scale renewable energy projects across the Americas. This role involves managing complex, multi-million-dollar solar and BESS projects from contract award to completion, ensuring they meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets. This is a high-visibility position reporting to the Americas Region Projects & Services Leader, offering significant career growth opportunities within a leading energy technology company.

Responsibilities

• Lead major energy projects valued between \$10M and \$200M, including utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, building trust through clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and consistent delivery.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from finalization through closeout, including reporting, receivables management, and change order/claim negotiations.
• Drive business performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risk management.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional GE Vernova teams and business units to ensure seamless product delivery and commissioning.
• Communicate project goals, risks, opportunities, and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster an inclusive, engaged team environment that achieves best-in-class project management results.
• Ensure professional and ethical project execution to protect and enhance GE Vernova's market reputation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Engineering discipline preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of project management or customer management experience.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal, technical and commercial).
• Demonstrated success leading and motivating multi-cultural, cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.

Nice-to-haves

• GE or energy industry experience is a plus.
• Experience in solar and/or BESS power plant design, procurement, or construction.
• Prior experience with GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions products and processes.
• Background in Lean / continuous improvement methodologies.
