Our mission is simple: connect people to what’s important while delivering an exceptional travel experience that is both affordable and enjoyable.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Supply Chain Management (SCM) Operations Data Analytics Analyst, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s data‑driven decision‑making engine. Your insights will power strategic initiatives across the supply chain, helping the company reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and maintain the high level of service our customers expect. This is a remote, part‑time position that offers the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a high‑impact, fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex data sets using advanced data mining, modeling, and cost‑benefit analysis techniques to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Design and develop interactive visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to translate raw data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SCM teams to define data‑driven metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards that align with business objectives.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, ensuring seamless extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, and cloud‑based data warehouses.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models that support cost‑to‑operate (CTO), total cost of ownership (TCO), and savings calculations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve supply chain performance, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams—including Finance, Operations, IT, and Business Intelligence—to deliver integrated solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Mentor junior analysts, share best practices, and champion a culture of data literacy throughout the organization.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analyses and support special projects as directed by leadership, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality work.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in data analytics, data modeling, or data architecture within a large‑scale, data‑centric environment.
  • Proven expertise with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata) and ETL tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
  • Strong command of analytical programming languages (Python, R, or similar) for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Tableau Desktop Specialist).
  • Experience in the airline or transportation industry, particularly within supply chain or logistics functions.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big‑data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
  • Project management experience, including Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Track record of leading medium‑scale projects from conception through execution.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex problems, identify root causes, and propose data‑driven solutions.
  • Data Storytelling: Skill in crafting compelling narratives that turn numbers into strategic recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in cross‑functional environments and can influence without authority.
  • Self‑Management: Comfortable working independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Agility: Quick learner who stays current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of stakeholder needs and a commitment to delivering value that enhances the customer experience.
