About Cascade: Cascade is a venture-backed fintech startup backed by North American investors that empowers companies to grow by democratizing access to institutional debt. We are building tools that modernize how companies raise and manage debt, lowering the barriers to entry to the $7 trillion specialty finance and alternative credit market for companies around the world. About the role: We are a global business but are growing rapidly in North America. We are looking for an intrapreneur to continue growing our business in the region. The role will mix customer management with an eye on building the foundation for a larger team down the line. We are also looking for someone who can manage relationships with existing and new customers and partners in the region, helping them with executing private credit and asset-backed lending deals by onboarding them onto our platform. What You’ll Do Craft a strategy for growth in the region, working with fintech lenders and specialty finance companies along with private credit funds investing in them Work with asset originators and investors using our platform to ensure they are smoothly executing on debt operations and new deals Onboard new customers onto the platform as a main point of contact Understand deal details and data to ensure accuracy when it comes to reporting on structured debt deals Build and manage relationships with existing partners and customers Skills And Experience 3+ years experience in a capital markets, investments, or business development role Experience working in a fintech startup that raised debt or a private credit investor role Experience with raising, managing, or deploying debt facilities preferred Bilingual French and English speakers preferred People who thrive at Cascade are: Self-starters, who take the initiative to tackle challenges in a remote work environment Good communicators, who can operate without ego to discuss, learn, grow, and help others do the same Passionate about creating great digital experiences for users Problem solvers who are not satisfied with the status quo
