Role Overview – Lead Data Engineer (Remote – Tennessee)

arenaflex is seeking a seasoned Lead Data Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of a robust data platform that powers analytics, operations, and machine‑learning workloads for our streaming ecosystem. You will be embedded within the Orchestration team, responsible for workflow scheduling, data ingestion, and the overall health of the data infrastructure that underpins services such as arenaflex+, arenaflex+, arenaflex+, and arenaflex+.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers to develop and maintain a large‑scale data processing environment supporting both real‑time and batch workloads.
• Architect and implement data discovery, lineage, resiliency, and privacy‑compliance features across the platform.
• Design, build, and evolve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure components, ensuring high availability, rapid deployment, and operational agility.
• Establish and enforce software engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines within the team and across the broader organization.

Essential Qualifications
