What You'll Do
As a key member of our team, you will Build data-driven web applications that inform audiences throughout the organization about business performance and growth initiatives, creating intuitive interfaces that make complex data accessible Design and implement intuitive user interfaces that bring data visualization and front-end best practices to life, ensuring every dashboard and tool is both beautiful and functional Collaborate with data teams and business clients to unify multiple data sources and present the most valuable analytical perspectives that drive actionable insights Take ownership of projects and work independently by embracing our culture of Freedom and Responsibility, where autonomy meets accountability Develop initiatives as part of the larger portfolio of work delivered by DSE teams and cross-functional partners, contributing to our ecosystem of data products Work directly with colleagues in Data Science and Engineering as well as partners at all levels and across our global locations, fostering collaboration across time zones and disciplines Who You Are We're seeking someone who is passionate about making data useful and accessible to a wide variety of clients. Essential Qualifications
Experience building web applications and interactive visualizations focused on data explanation and analysis Strong proficiency in front-end JavaScript and Node.js , with the ability to create seamless, performant applications Experience working with visualization libraries and component frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar technologies Understanding of design principles related to chart structures, typography, and the effective use of color to create clear, readable visualizations Experience designing, building, and iterating on interfaces with a strong sense of the entire user experience, not just individual components Experience working with data from various sources , including API endpoints and relational databases Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in corporate settings, journalism, or academia where data storytelling is essential A passion for exploring new technologies and comfort with independent learning Strong portfolio demonstrating previous data visualization projects Experience with business intelligence tools and platforms Understanding of data pipeline architecture and ETL processes Skills & Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess Technical Excellence Strong coding skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks Data Visualization Expertise Proficiency with tools like D3.js, Chart.js, or similar libraries Design Sensitivity Understanding of visual design principles, user experience considerations, and information hierarchy Analytical Thinking Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions Communication Skills Capability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders Collaboration Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams Self-Motivation Comfort with autonomy and ability to drive projects forward independently Career Growth & Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, your career trajectory is limited only by your ambition.
