Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous, information‑driven professional to lead the analytics function for our paid media initiatives. This role is classified as part‑time (8 hours per day) and fully remote, with a competitive rate of $27 per hour. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and maintain analytical solutions that surface key performance indicators (KPIs), drive strategic decisions, and continuously improve the efficiency of our global advertising spend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Insight Delivery: Translate complex paid‑media data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership, influencing the direction of multi‑billion‑dollar advertising budgets.
  • Analytics Architecture: Design, develop, and own the end‑to‑end analytics roadmap, including data pipelines, BI dashboards, and reporting frameworks that enable real‑time visibility into campaign performance.
  • Collaboration with Marketing Teams: Partner with paid‑media marketers to identify optimization opportunities, construct media mix models, and recommend spend reallocations that maximize ROI.
  • Advanced SQL & Data Modeling: Write high‑performance SQL queries, develop stored procedures, and maintain data warehouses that support both scheduled and ad‑hoc reporting needs.
  • BI Tool Mastery: Build interactive visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and MicroStrategy to communicate trends, anomalies, and forecasts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Cross‑Functional Project Leadership: Act as the analytical liaison for product, finance, and operations teams, ensuring data‑driven alignment on business objectives and performance metrics.
  • Statistical & Predictive Modeling: Conduct deep‑dive analyses, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling (using Python, R, or SAS) to uncover hidden drivers of media performance.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce comprehensive documentation, executive‑level presentations, and scorecards that capture methodology, findings, and recommended actions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business analytics, consulting, or a data‑focused role within an online commerce environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
