Key Responsibilities

  • Enter detailed information from shipping manifests, purchase orders, and vendor invoices into arenaflex’s ERP system with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts payable, ensuring discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved.
  • Maintain clear and professional internal communication with finance, procurement, and logistics teams to clarify data discrepancies.
  • Coordinate external communications with suppliers and customers to verify transaction details, resolve billing issues, and confirm receipt of goods.
  • Generate and distribute reconciliation reports, highlighting variances, trends, and recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Support special projects such as system migrations, process automation initiatives, and audit preparation as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Continuously improve data entry workflows by identifying bottlenecks, proposing solutions, and implementing best practices.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry and reconciliation activities.

Essential Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED – required; additional post‑secondary coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in accounts payable, financial reconciliations, or related finance functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and meet strict deadlines.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP platforms; prior exposure to arenaflex’s ERP environment is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, especially around accounts payable, expense reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Comfort using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, or similar platforms for remote communication.
