Position Overview As an Inbound Solar Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners interested in lowering their monthly electricity costs through solar energy. You'll work directly with qualified leads, receive live inbound transfers, educate prospective customers on solar programs, and schedule appointments with our Solar Consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy talking with people, thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, and are motivated by performance-based compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage live inbound homeowner transfers
- Conduct phone-based lead generation and appointment setting
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of residential solar energy
- Determine customer eligibility and interest in solar solutions
- Schedule qualified appointments for In Home Solar Consultants
- Accurately document customer interactions in the CRM
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Utilize company sales processes and scripts effectively
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
Qualifications
Required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM software
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace (for remote work)
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and most importantly BE COACHABLE
Preferred
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, appointment setting, call center, telemarketing, lead generation, inside sales, retail sales, or collections
- Experience using CRM platforms
- Familiarity with solar energy, home improvement, or energy consulting industries beneficial but not required
