Why This Role Matters

The Data Lead you will become is the cornerstone of arenaflex’s Studio Data Management team within the Content & Business Products (CBP) division. This team builds the data foundations that enable creative teams to innovate faster, product teams to make smarter decisions, and business leaders to drive measurable value across the entire content lifecycle—from concept to screen.

In this remote position, you will partner directly with cross‑functional product squads, engineers, designers, and senior stakeholders to shape the data strategy that fuels arenaflex’s most ambitious projects. Your work will directly impact the quality, accessibility, and reliability of data that powers everything from content acquisition to audience analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Data Planning: Develop near‑term and long‑term roadmaps for data requirements across the studio, including data architecture, data cataloging, and data education initiatives. Create quarterly plans that align with business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
• Data Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary data authority across the studio, advising product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders on best practices for data collection, storage, and usage.
• Metrics Definition & Documentation: Collaborate with product owners and data engineers to define, design, and document key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into data health, usage, and impact.
• Process Automation & Scaling: Independently design and implement scalable processes for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery, ensuring high performance and low latency for downstream applications.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in data management, working with relational databases, data warehouses, or content management systems.

• Broad knowledge of the content lifecycle—from pitch to production to distribution—and how data supports each stage.
