Key Responsibilities

• Design and Execute Experiments: Lead the conception, planning, and execution of large‑scale customer‑level A/B tests and in‑market experiments that evaluate new product features, promotional offers, and digital experiences.
• Data Engineering & Integration: Oversee the extraction, cleaning, and merging of diverse data sources—including customer, transactional, and clickstream datasets—using scalable technologies such as PySpark, SparkR, Scala, or Java.
• Statistical Modeling & Causal Inference: Build robust test‑vs‑control models, conduct power analysis, and apply advanced inferential techniques to quantify the causal impact of experiments on revenue, conversion, retention, and other key metrics.
• Insight Generation & Storytelling: Translate complex analytical results into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations (ggplot2, seaborn, matplotlib, Plotly) that drive strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and external vendors to align experimental design with business objectives and ensure seamless data pipeline integration.
• Best‑Practice Evangelism: Champion a culture of data‑driven decision making by documenting methodologies, creating reusable templates, and mentoring junior analysts on experimental design and statistical rigor.
• Tool Development & Automation: Develop reusable scripts and automated workflows to streamline data preparation, experiment monitoring, and result reporting, reducing manual effort and increasing reproducibility.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all data handling complies with privacy regulations and internal governance standards, maintaining the highest level of data security and ethical use.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or a related discipline, preferably within a fast‑paced consumer‑focused environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying; advanced programming expertise in R or Python for statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Big Data Competence: Hands‑on experience processing large datasets using PySpark, SparkR, Scala, or Java, and familiarity with distributed computing concepts.
