Our Corporate Bookkeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity that supports our global operations. We are now seeking a talented and driven professional to join our General and Regulatory Accounting functions, helping manage our corporate Mastercard and travel programs with excellence and precision.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about driving process improvements to achieve scale. This role offers the opportunity to build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams across the organization and contribute directly to the financial health of a global entertainment leader.
This is a hybrid position that can be located in Los Angeles or Los Gatos, with flexibility for remote work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our Corporate Bookkeeping team, you will be responsible for:
- Month-End Close Process Ownership: Lead the entire month-end close cycle, including thorough audit of prepaid expenses, accruals, and business ledgers to ensure financial summary accuracy in compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Journal Entry Management: Record accurate journal entries, including intercompany entries, and prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct budget versus actual reviews and trend analysis to identify key insights for management review.
- Process Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automate manual workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability across accounting operations.
- Reporting Excellence: Create intelligent close packages that summarize key business and accounting trends for executive review and decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent Corporate Bookkeeping in collaborative meetings with SP&A, Financial Applications, Travel and Expense, Money Acquisition Activities, Tax, and regional accounting partners.
- Compliance Support: Assist teams in gathering required forecasts for local reporting and compliance purposes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or similar roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles); CPA certification or comparable designation is highly preferred.
- Time Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Process Improvement Track Record: Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing workflow improvements that drive efficiency.

- Experience working in the entertainment, streaming, or media industry.
- Familiarity with corporate credit card programs and travel expense management systems.
- Advanced proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise resource planning tools.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and cross-border transactions.
- History of collaborating with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, and Treasury.
