Position Overview – College Chemistry Tutor (Chattanooga, TN)

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule Management: Balance tutoring hours across assigned students, ensuring timely coverage of all sessions while maintaining flexibility for last‑minute adjustments.
  • Student Support: Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing professional guidance and fostering strong relationships with both students and parents.
  • Enrollment Monitoring: Communicate with the arenaflex office when a student’s prepaid hours are low, recommending additional sessions or package upgrades as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of experience in the education field, preferably in tutoring or classroom instruction.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach college‑level chemistry concepts to high‑school or early‑college students.
  • Proficiency with basic data entry and database management for accurate record‑keeping.
  • Capability to develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual student needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse learners and adapt to varying learning styles.
  • Excellent administrative abilities, including timely reporting, scheduling, and communication.
