Virtual Special Education Teachers

Remote, 1099 contract Virtual Special Education Teachers for the new school year. Blazer Jobs has partnered with schools throughout Texas to provide special education students with the services they need for a successful future. Specialize or focus on teaching certain students (K-12th, mild-moderate level students, or even severe Autistic students). Instruct, support, and advocate for students with diverse disabilities (physical, cognitive, or emotional) by creating tailored lesson plans and adapting curriculum to meet individual needs. Teachers modify general education curriculum and use special techniques to teach academic skills to students with learning disabilities, autism, or cognitive disabilities. Often work with student evaluations: IEPs (Individualized Education Program/Plan). They conduct formal and informal assessments, such as data collection, observations, and tests, to evaluate progress toward IEP goals. They provide specialized techniques to foster positive behavior, social skills, and emotional regulation. Applicants must be licensed in the state they are applying for. All local and state certification requirements must be met as well. To be considered for this role, you must be familiar with various technology platforms that support remote teaching and services. Compensation is dependent on the district you apply for and years of experience in the industry.
