Property Accountant Indianapolis, IN $60,000 — $65,000 Indianapolis, IN $60,000 to $65,000 depending on experience We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team in a hybrid work environment (typically 3 days in-office and 2 days remote). This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting functions for a designated portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance reports Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness Manage cash activity, including tenant receipts and disbursements to vendors
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property accounting Apply To This Job
