[Remote] Consultant - Research
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Panterra is a global strategic advisory firm seeking a Consultant - Research to support quantitative and qualitative project delivery for corporate clients. The role involves planning and executing complex research projects globally, managing vendors, and providing actionable guidance based on research findings.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing vendors and helping with programming, testing, and proofing research materials
- Creating research schedules, managing timelines, and vendors
- Assisting in drafting surveys, qualitative question guides, and screening questionnaires
- Managing research vendors and project timelines
- Preparing and proofreading client-facing deliverables
- Assisting in analysis of quantitative research findings
- Building client deliverables and reports in Google Slides and PowerPoint
- Tracking project budgets
- Contributing to strong, supportive, and positive team culture
Skills
- 0-2 years in the public opinion research field, or who are transitioning from a different industry
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on multiple competing timelines
- Must be comfortable operating in a remote setting, collaborating virtually while remaining engaged with colleagues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Strong interpersonal skills including comfort supporting team members and senior leaders
- Interest or experience in technology and artificial intelligence, political campaigns, public policy, public opinion research, or market research
- Undergraduate degree
- Understanding of basic quantitative research methodologies, and/or familiarity with polling/surveys
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Proficiency with Google Slides required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with brand tracking studies
- Experience working on long-term brand trackers
- Understanding of basic statistics (e.g., Confidence Levels, Margin of Error, p-values)
- Proficiency with DisplayR
