The Director of Digital Programs provides leadership across Datavant’s digital client portfolio, ensuring consistent delivery of measurable value through strategic alignment, end-to-end implementation, and operational excellence. This role is accountable for the success of complex digital programs spanning multiple products and clients, with direct ownership of execution quality, client outcomes, and team performance. This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, product execution, and operational rigor. You will lead and develop a team of Digital Program Managers while personally building senior client relationships, supporting digital expansion and adoption, and serving as a critical escalation point. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Client Success, Sales, and other teams to remove obstacles, scale best practices, and ensure Datavant’s digital solutions deliver against ambitious business and client objectives. You Will Lead Digital Program Delivery at Scale

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of digital clients & program managers, ensuring successful strategy development, forecasting, implementation, onboarding, and sustained product adoption.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex delivery, client, and execution challenges, intervening directly when needed to drive resolution and outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client executives, clearly articulating the value of Datavant’s digital products and aligning capabilities to client needs and strategic objectives.

Build and Lead a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Digital Program Managers responsible for end-to-end delivery across Datavant’s digital products.
  • Create clarity, discipline, and accountability across the team, setting clear expectations and driving consistent execution.
  • Actively support team velocity and performance by identifying resource needs, removing blockers, and championing innovation and continuous improvement.

Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Design, refine, and scale program management processes, playbooks, and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability.
  • Leverage tools such as Asana, IDSB, Sigma, Snowflake, and related systems to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable data for teams and stakeholders.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma and similar methodologies to reduce waste, standardize workflows, and continuously raise the bar as the team further scales.

Cross-Functional Partnership to Deliver Impact

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Client Success, BI, Sales and other Operations partners to align priorities, remove execution barriers, and ensure delivery success.
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback to Product teams based on client outcomes and frontline insights to inform roadmap decisions and future iterations.
  • Identify opportunities to better serve clients through new features, use cases, automation, and self-service capabilities.

Own Business Outcomes

  • Contribute materially to departmental KPIs and broader business objectives, including digital expansion, retention, adoption, and forecast accuracy.
  • Apply strong financial acumen to forecasting, performance tracking, and proactive intervention to mitigate risk to program outcomes.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, personally leading high-impact initiatives and complex problem-solving efforts when required.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related healthcare experience required; clinical experience a plus.
  • 10–12+ years of progressive experience in client-facing, program management, or operational leadership roles; experience serving health plan customers strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in medical record retrieval, risk adjustment, quality programs, and related healthcare data workflows.
  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic plans that drive measurable client and business outcom
