Freelance CRM Strategist & Copywriter — Marketing Services Remote (US) · New York City preferred We’re looking for a freelance CRM specialist who pairs deep platform expertise with sharp writing chops to help us strengthen client relationships and drive measurable engagement. What you’ll do
- Build, segment, and optimize CRM campaigns across email, SMS, and lifecycle touchpoints
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for nurture flows, newsletters, promotional sends, and automated journeys
- Develop audience segmentation strategies and personalization frameworks
- Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Partner with account, creative, and strategy teams on integrated marketing programs
- Audit and improve existing CRM workflows for clients across multiple industries
What you bring
- 5+ years of CRM experience, with significant time inside a marketing services agency or similar client-services environment
- Hands-on expertise with platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable
- A strong portfolio of writing samples — email copy, lifecycle content, or campaign work
- Fluency in segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, and CRM analytics
- Ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines independently
- Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset
Logistics
- Fully remote within the US;
New York metro candidates preferred for occasional in-person collaboration
- Flexible hours with availability during EST business hours
- 25 hours/week
- $75/hour
