Job Description:

Position:

Experienced Customer Service Representative/Social Worker

Location:

Remote (Pasadena, CA 91107)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm

Pay Rate:

$25-27/hour

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative/Social Worker, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or requiring assistance with navigating county and state public assistance programs, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal.
  • Handling inbound calls and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolving all aspects of customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Entering accurate information into our database.
  • Collaborating with various staff members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintaining records and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Performing light administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing.
  • Handling email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

* Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling.

  • 1-3 years' experience in social work or homecare administration.
  • Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • 40 wpm typing speed.
  • Background screen after acceptance of job offer.
