Financial Analyst II

The Financial Analyst II plays a key role in providing financial analysis and operational support to senior management and executives. This individual supports the development and coordination of the company’s financial planning processes, models, and systems, as well as corporate, management, and KPI reporting. The ideal candidate will build strong partnerships between Finance and the broader organization by delivering clear, thoughtful analysis that helps leaders better manage the business. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and provide financial support across planning, control, and analytical activities. Responsibilities include consolidated reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis. The insights generated by this role contribute directly to PROS’ success as we continue to execute our profitable growth strategy. A Day in the Life of the Financial Analyst II - Assist in the annual and periodic budgeting and forecasting processes, including support of business unit budgets - Maintain and update financial planning and reporting models used for forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis - Identify trends and emerging issues to support a dynamic and evolving business environment - Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close, reporting, and forecast processes - Prepare and support monthly senior management and Board reporting deliverables - Produce ad hoc analyses and reports for senior leaders to support decision‑making - Analyze, synthesize, and translate data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions by senior leadership - Conduct research related to financial metrics, benchmarks, and trend analysis - Participate in cross‑functional projects and business analyses - Contribute to the development and implementation of FP&A process and reporting improvements Qualifications- About You - Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail - Ability to gather information from multiple sources and distill findings into clear, actionable insights - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Comfortable communicating and partnering with diverse groups across the organization Requirements - Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word - Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and planning systems - Ability to support senior management through high‑quality analysis, reporting, and presentation materials Minimum Qualifications - 2–3 years of related experience in FP&A, banking, corporate strategy, or consulting - Software or SaaS industry experience preferred Education - B.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related discipline Skills & Personal Characteristics: - Ownership - Care - Innovation Why Join PROS?
