Position Overview We are hiring equity derivatives traders to trade remotely with firm capital. You will apply your knowledge of options pricing, hedging techniques, and equity market dynamics to build and manage a derivatives-focused trading book with professional risk oversight and coaching support. Location: Detroit, MI Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Experience Level: 2+ years trading or managing investments

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and execute options trades aligned with your defined edge and risk tolerance
• Track volatility surfaces, skew, and term structure to inform strategy selection
• Size positions appropriately using portfolio-level risk metrics, not just per-trade stops
• Adjust hedges and roll positions in response to changing market conditions
• Document trade theses, entries, exits, and post-trade reviews for ongoing improvement
• Engage with peer traders to share market views and refine strategy ideas

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years of active trading in options, forex, or related instruments
• Strong grasp of market structure, liquidity, and order flow fundamentals
• Proven discipline in risk management and adherence to a trading plan
• Self-motivated learner with an interest in long-term performance improvement
• Functional home office setup with stable broadband connectivity
• Familiarity with platforms such as TradingView, ThinkOrSwim, or MetaTrader is a plus

Position Details

• Work as an independent contractor (1099) with full schedule flexibility
• Keep 65–90% of your trading profits with increasing splits at higher levels
• Trade with firm capital starting at up to $50,000, with scaling potential to $500,000+
• 100% remote — trade from anywhere with a reliable internet connection
• Eligible for capital increases every two months as you demonstrate consistency
• Compensation is entirely performance-based, giving you direct control over your earnings
