As a Staff Accountant, you'll be an integral part of our team, contributing to our continued success. Role Description This is a full-time role for a Staff Accountant at Ragland & Associates LLC. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, including preparing income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations, preparing financial statements, researching tax issues, performing general ledger reconciliations, assisting with audits, and analyzing financial data. The Staff Accountant will also collaborate with clients and provide support on accounting-related matters. Required

  • CPA or EA
  • Demonstrates a genuine care about their work (takes ownership), the firm, and other team members
  • 3+ years of accounting firm experience
  • Experience using UltraTax
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Trust and estate experience
