Job Summary

As an Experienced Remote Customer Service/Sales Representative – Supplemental Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for consulting with clients, explaining the options available, and helping them select the best plan to fit their family's needs. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your exceptional communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to teamwork to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Reach out to individuals who have requested more information on the benefits we offer, building rapport and establishing trust through empathetic and personalized communication

  • Schedule Zoom meetings with these members, ensuring seamless and efficient onboarding processes
  • Customize new benefit plans and adjust existing plans to fit the current needs of each client, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver tailored solutions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, fostering long-term loyalty and advocacy through proactive communication and exceptional service
  • Perform benefit reviews for existing clients, as well as help with any necessary claims or adjustments, ensuring seamless and efficient administrative support
  • Provide attentive customer service and administrative support in response to members' needs, resolving questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete, performing any necessary updates on schedule to maintain compliance and efficiency

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex benefit plans and resolve client concerns
  • Ambitious, motivated, and organized, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with experience using CRM software and other productivity tools

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the supplemental benefits industry or a related field

  • Familiarity with benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, and hearing insurance
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, with experience using data-driven insights to inform sales decisions
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively

Compensation and Benefits

* Weekly performance-based pay and bonuses, on average $65,000 to $68,500 first year annually
