Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data from raw sources, verifying data for errors, and maintaining logs of activities and completed work. Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Entering alphanumeric data from raw sources into our systems
- Comparing data with source documents to detect errors and re-entering data in verification format as needed
- Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered
- Utilizing Excel for data remediation and analysis
- Locating and correcting data entry errors or reporting them to supervisors
- Maintaining logs of activities and completed work
- Reading source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and entering data in specific data fields
- Meeting heavy production requirements and maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Possessing strong 10-key skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and database software
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Data Entry: Excellent data entry skills with a strong attention to detail
- Data Collection: Ability to collect and verify data from various sources
- Excel: Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and remediation
- Data Remediation: Experience with data remediation and analysis
- Qualifications:
+ Years of experience: 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field + Experience level: Experienced data entry professional + Education: No degree required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
