Senior Medical Scribe – Charting Virtual Assistant, Part-Time

Job Description:

Create accurate and comprehensive medical documentation during or after patient encounters.
Join phone calls with the Nurse Practitioner and patients to document symptoms, concerns, medical history updates, and treatment notes.
Receive a list of patients scheduled for the day from the Nurse Practitioner.
Upload, organize, and maintain patient documentation securely in OneDrive.
If experienced, assist in navigating PointClickCare for documentation, chart updates, or patient lookup.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive health information.

Requirements:

Senior-Level Experience as a Medical Scribe, Healthcare VA, Nurse VA, or similar role
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
HIPAA Certified (Preferred; highly prioritized)
Previous experience supporting a Nurse Practitioner or medical professional
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in documentation
Ability to work part-time during mid to late afternoon PST
Tech-savvy with experience in: OneDrive (required) PointClickCare (preferred but not required)
Ability to handle fast-paced workloads (20–30 patients/day)
High integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
