Rim Repair Tech (2nd Shift)
Description:
- Repair deep wheel damage on vehicle wheels and rims.
- Operate a wheel repair machine as part of the repair process.
- Paint and clear-coat repaired wheels.
- Work in Carvana’s inspection and vehicle reconditioning centers to help prepare cars for sale.
- Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Work mandatory overtime when needed based on business demand.
- Support an efficient production environment that meets customer delivery timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
- Ability to work in exposure to weather conditions such as heat and cold.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
