DescriptionWe are looking for a Sr Security Engineer to join our Security team and play a key role in strengthening security across our multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP). This role will be instrumental in driving security automation, improving operational excellence, and helping shift engineering culture toward security-by-design.You will work with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, and Global Security stakeholders. ️ Your key responsibilitiesOwn and evolve parts of the cloud security landscape across AWS and GCPEmbed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using TerraformDrive security automation across environments, reducing manual processes and operational riskAct as a security evangelist, influencing engineers to adopt secure-by-default practicesPartner with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve security remediation and incident managementSupport incident response activities, post-incident improvements, and operational readinessContribute to security tooling, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications What we expect from youStrong hands-on experience with Cloud Security, especially AWS (GCP experience is a plus or willingness to learn)Solid background in DevSecOps and embedding security into engineering workflowsExperience with Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeProficiency working with Linux/Unix environmentsScripting experience with Go and/or PythonComfortable working independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to think end-to-end and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholdersAdvanced English (you will work with global stakeholders).Availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed.⭐ Nice to haveExperience with GCP security servicesPrevious exposure to security tooling and automation at scaleBackground working in multi-cloud or complex enterprise environmentsExperience interacting with audit, global security, or external security partnersSecurity certifications or strong security engineering foundations Additional InformationAt Serasa Experian, we believe that diversity is essential for a healthier and more innovative work environment, where everyone can share experiences and express their ideas.
